A Short Bio
I was born in Ankara, Turkey. I completed my primary and secondary education at TED Ankara Koleji and
got my BS degree in Computer Engineering at Bilkent University.
In the summer of 2007, I moved to the US for graduate study at Purdue University and got my PhD degree in Computer Science in 2013.
During my PhD I was extremely fortunate to be advised by Professor Bharat Bhargava.
I worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Purdue in the 2014-2015 academic year, and then as a Postdoctoral Research Associate until December 2016. Currently I'm an Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, where I am affiliated with the S2RL and WINS research laboratories.

- Distributed Systems
- Blockchain
- 5G Security
