Course Objectives:
Focus of this course is on the application of operational mathematics concepts to linear systems
- To teach the fundamental concepts of discrete and continuous time linear system theory
- To apply the theory to engineering problems modeled with linear differential and difference equations
- To teach the operational properties of integral transforms such as Fourier and Laplace
- To apply operational methods to the solution of linear equations
- To apply operational methods to the analysis of the systems modeled with linear differential and difference equations
