Comic Books
I love comic books. I started by reading Spider-Man and Zagor mainly. I have a lot of beautiful childhood memories on reading comic books. Rom, Batman, Justice League of America, Tommiks, Mandrake, Red Kit and many more.
Today I learned to appreciate comic books as an art medium too. My recent favorites are X-Men of Silver Age, Spider-Man of Ultimate Universe, Batman of Bronze Age. Nowadays I read Golden Age comics of 1930-1950.
Music
Music is life. Rock is the only alternative to Beethoven. I mainly listen classical rock, heavy metal, alternative, pop and classical music. Iron Maiden, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Metallica, Belle and Sebastian and The Doors.

Literature
I like to read Turkish poetry. I'm mostly fond of the style of Murathan Mungan, Cemal Süreya and Edip Cansever.
I like classical literature, modern fiction, sci-fi and fantasy literature. My most favorite book is The Dispossessed by Ursula K. LeGuin. Other favorites are Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevski, 1984 and Animal Farm by George Orwell, Yeni Hayat (The New Life) by Orhan Pamuk, Dune series by Frank Herbert and also the new series by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.

- I'm a huge fan of Internet technologies, public information sources and free software. I'm trying to contribute as much as I can, doing bug reports for free software, wikipedia editing,
- I was an avid cinema fan in the past, mostly into independent cinema and sub cultures. However in the last years I do not watch a lot of movies. This is due to watching TV shows more. I still follow comic book adaptations closely, Marvel Cinematic Universe and DC Comics Movies.
- In my minor studies I had the chance to read a lot of philosophical texts. I'm mostly astonished by the texts of Søren Aabye Kierkegaard and Immanuel Kant. I'll start reading A History of Philosophy by Frederick Copleston, S.J. This nine (or eleven) volume book is one of the finest summary of western philosophy, despite being written by a Jesuit priest and holds a Thomist, but fair, point of view. I have to say I'm very excited to visit the text after ten years.
- I've grown with video games and planning to grow old with them too. I was mainly on World of Warcraft, however quit for now. Hope to return back in the future. Here's my giant bomb profile.
- I play contract bridge. Suffering from lack of a constant partner, I've turned to computers as partners and opponents, mainly Jack, world contract bridge champion.
